Mark your calendars for the 42nd Annual 4th Street Fair brought to you by Senior Opportunities Services (SOS) and sponsored by Jerry and Mary Purcell. The 4th Street Fair is an annual fall festival nestled amongst the beautiful Old Richmond Historic District on South 4th Street in Richmond, Indiana. This beloved community event features a weekend full of FREE family fun with musical performances and demonstrations, food trucks, vendors, games, activities, and much more. This event also serves as an important fundraiser for SOS, a non-profit focused on the needs of older adults in Wayne County. This year’s 4th Street Fair kicks-off on Friday, October 6 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. with an exciting new 4th Street Fair After Dusk event featuring live music by Todd the Fox, a beer garden, food trucks, and more. This special event will be held at the corner of South 4th and South D Streets in Richmond. A number of vendors will also be open during this time. The 42nd Annual 4th Street Fair will be open Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on on South 4th between South B and D Streets in Richmond. Attractions for this year’s event include: Over 100 vendors with an exceptional variety of high quality handmade goods, arts and crafts, and other unique creations. FREE performances at the Entertainment Stage including live music, dancing and demonstrations during both days of the fair! Giveaways and drawings plus interactive games and activities for the kids! Two Food Courts featuring food trucks, concession stands and baked goods. Tented seating areas available all throughout the fair. Senior Opportunities Services invites you to come shop amongst the stunning architecture and scenery of a charming historic neighborhood. Relax, enjoy the fun activities, and feast on delicious offerings from our food vendors. Socialize with friends and family while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
