Montezuma Zoomtown 5K May 20 Location: Montezuma, IN Run through the historic Sim Smith and Phillips covered bridges. Medals awarded to the top three male and female finishers, plus an award for the largest participant group.  Rosedale Strawberry Festival April 29-April 30 Location: Rosedale, IN For the best home-baked shortcakes in Indiana, visit Rosedale in June. This family-friendly street fair has free concerts daily, crafters, KidZone, adult hobby show, car, truck and heap show, and more.  MainStreet Rockville Cruise-In June 3 Location: Rockville, IN Located on the Rockville Courthouse Lawn. Street music, food, shopping around the square, trophies awarded for bikes, cars, motorcycles and scooters. Registration fee required.  Brick Street Market June 24 Location: Rockville, IN One day show of folk art, primitive, & antique furniture show on the historic courthouse square featuring unique clothing & jewelry venues and gifts for the home. Leisurely cruise in a Ford Model T.  Covered Bridge Antique Power Club Tractor Drive June 24-25 Location: Parke County, IN Tour beautiful, historic Parke County! All tractors (old and new) and license drivers welcome. Travel through covered bridges and beautiful countryside. This tour takes drivers and passengers through our county’s historic covered bridges that are at the core of Parke County’s tourism, culture and identity.  Rockville Lake Park Independence Day Celebration June 24 Location: Rockville Lake Park Inflatable bounce houses and obstacle course from 11am-7pm, live music from 5-7pm, food vendors all day, and fireworks begin at dusk!  Raccoon Lake Independence Day Fireworks July 1 Location: Raccoon Lake SRA The fireworks funding primarily comes from donations collected at the main gate prior to the show and a generous contribution annually from the Raccoon Lake/Union Township Homeowners Association. We would highly encourage those that attend by boat, enjoy from the dam, or from private docks and seawalls to help join in on funding the next big show.  Bridgeton Mill’s 200-Year Celebration July 1 Location: Bridgeton Mill You are cordially invited to Bridgeton Mill’s 200-Year Celebration on July 4th from 10 am to 8 pm. Live bluegrass music starting around 12pm, shopping, food, pottery demonstrations, woodworking demonstrations, and more!  Rosedale American Legion Fireworks July 4 Location: Rosedale, IN  Parke County 4-H Fair July 4-17 Location: Parke County 4-H Fairgrounds Since 1921, features a celebration for those near and far that showcases all that the county has to offer. Plenty of things to do and see for young and old such as children’s activities, entertainment, food and merchandise vendors, livestock, agricultural competitions, and much more. |
