The 16th annual Taste of the Gardens, presented by the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau, returns to Wellfield Botanic Gardens on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A fundraiser for Wellfield Botanic Gardens supported by the Elkhart Rotary Club and community volunteers, Taste of the Gardens, which attracts thousands of guests from our region, is a celebration of beautiful art, delicious food, live music, and fun.
This year, artists return to Taste of the Gardens. From all over Elkhart and St. Joe County, Taste will include all styles of art, including but not limited to oil painting, woodworking, boutique clothing, steel art, and numerous other mediums. With over 30 artists inside the Celebration Garden, Taste of the Gardens will have something for everyone. All sales go directly to the artist.

Local food vendors include Artisan, Chubby Trout, Corner Bar, Don Jose, Flippin’ Cow, Kao’s, Mini Delights, Osteria Amici, Smokin’ Fattys, and Vanilla Bean Creamery. Food vendors prepare small plates of their favorite dishes and items ranging in price from $2 – $6. Navarre Catering & Events provides bars located around the Gardens serving wine and beer, water, and soft drinks.
Taste of the Gardens will feature live music from the Whistle Pigs from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m., Paul Decker from 1:45 to 3:30 p.m., and Memphis Underground from 4:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission to the event is $15 for adults; children under 12 are free with paying adult. Tickets are available at the gate or online at Taste of the Gardens. Wellfield Botanic Gardens is a “living museum” located at 1011 N. Main St., Elkhart, Indiana. Situated on the historic North Main Street well field, the Gardens are 36 acres in size, including 18 acres of water.
