Indulge in irresistible and decadent sweet treats at this event celebrating all things chocolate on Friday, May 2nd from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Admission is free, and tickets can be purchased at the door and redeemed for chocolate treats of your choice. Kokomo Strawberry Festival will be held on Friday, June 6th. During this popular annual festival, enjoy delicious homemade strawberry shortcake desserts topped high with strawberries, ice cream and whipped cream (while supplies last.) You’ll also find live music, food trucks, kid’s activities, and the Artsapalooza Art Market with artists, makers and demonstrations. Join the fun in beautiful downtown Kokomo from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
One of the biggest festivals in Kokomo is the annual Haynes Apperson Festival, which celebrates the community’s automotive heritage. Named after local automotive pioneers, this festival features a parade, car shows and cruise-ins, 5K run, carnival rides, live music, fireworks, free concerts, and lots of food! Don’t miss three days of family fun in downtown Kokomo’s Foster Park on July 3-5.

The Howard County Fair is one of the largest 4-H fairs in Indiana. Explore 4-H exhibits and demonstrations, carnival rides, daily live entertainment and music, pioneer village, a queen pageant and lots of great food vendors! It will be held July 7-12 at the Howard County Fairgrounds in Greentown.
Winding Creek Music Festival combines music from the best of local, regional and national bluegrass bands and folk and gospel musicians, along with youth and adult workshops, food, and arts & crafts vendors during this 4-day festival on August 14-17 in western Howard County. Family-friendly with lots of shade. Be sure to bring your lawn chair!
