Fall is right around the corner, and Whiting has a full lineup of events to keep the community busy!
September kicks off with Sheridan Plaza Markets continuing the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, followed by the City’s 25th Anniversary 9/11 Ceremony on September 11. Enjoy great food at the 5th Annual Empanada Fest on September 12, cruise downtown one last time at our final Cruise Night of the season on September 16 and get ready for some spooky fun during Haunted Hayrides on September 18–19 and 25–26. Music lovers can head to the Historic Hoosier Theater on September 19 for The Piano Man Band, a tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel. Then October kicks off with Wickedly Whiting on October 2–3, followed by the City’s annual Kids Halloween Parade on October 24!
