The Bartholomew County Historical Society invites you to attend the latest in our Open Door Tour Series, A Bite of History! On this self-guided walking tour, participants will visit modern-day eateries and historic spots in downtown Columbus, each offering a one-bite or one-sip sample of their food or drink. At each stop you’ll learn about the fascinating history to be found in buildings both past and present.
Stops include several beloved downtown restaurants. Plus, visitors will get an exclusive look at the newly renovated space at 207 Washington Street – built in 1880 by F.J. Crump – courtesy of Voelz, Reed, & Mount LLC.
